About
This website (A Hobbit's Home) is the active portfolio for Jonathan E. Styles and his, usually incomplete, works. Some of the items, images, and designs seen on this page may be property of Weebly or their other respective owners, but I will lay claim to it somewhere if it is mine -- surely!
Here you will find my dabblings in 3D modeling/texturing/rendering and animation, my programming accomplishments, photography that I have done that fascinates me, and perhaps some useful tutorials for other enthusiasts.
I am in no way a professional (as can be witnessed), but I am a hobbyist that enjoys what I do - be honest when judging, but don't be mean -- I am weak-spirited and it will probably make me give up and move on to something else I won't finish. I do work a real life outside of here, so there probably will not be many updates, but I will add things occasionally as it sparks in my mind.
With any luck, perhaps with my fanatical ravings, attempts and trials we can collaborate together and make something wonderful that moves the world one day.
Until then, enjoy!

(Historical Entry)
At a young age I became obsessed with computers and gaming. Due to a family history of scientific and development and various engineering business roles it ran in my blood to have a desire to have a passionate knowledge for the base items that made things work. It was my goal (since age twelve) to begin to develop my own games!
Since then, I became deeply rooted and involved in various programming languages, graphic design and animation concepts, sound development, and all of the other components that are involved in its production. Unfortunately, life jumped in and these things never really came to fruition and nothing ever became of my skills.
Recently, a good friend of mine stirred up some history and I began to think about these things again. So, in its wake, I decided to open this "online journal" as I navigate my way through more endeavors to help keep me inspired and openly allow the world to view my successes and failures.
With all due respect, please enjoy. :)
